Victoria Delcheva is currently working as a tour guide in Sofia, Bulgaria.
She loves to do things for the simple reason of “why not” and “what’s the worst that can happen anyway”, so trying to do as much as possible and learning by experiencing has brought her to quite diverse paths in life. Viki has ended up leading a wedding ritual, setting up a travel company, organizing a promo campaign for raising awareness about transplantation, hosting a poetry evening presenting her own book.. to name some.
Getting out of her comfort zone is a way of life she chose for herself 6 years ago after dropping her law studies to persue a career as a tour guide. Since back then this is the field she has dedicated most of her time to, showing around Sofia to hundreds of visitors making them fall in love with all the peculiarities and little imperfections her city has. In 2016 she went back to university looking forward to the day when she gets a bachelor degree in tourism. Viki believes that life is unpredictable and one doesn’t know where the next door they open will take them. That’s how she dared to open the door to PGLF Bulgaria, joining a team of young and motivated like-minded people that would like to leave a trace.
Viki’s work experience, as diverse as her natural curiosity, has broadened her perspective about the world and herself, making her realize that life is a crazy ride and we should embrace it the way it is, with its good and bad, taking the best out of every situation, letting go when necessary, and always moving forward. And the one thing that connects all of the dots for her is the communication between the people – to be with them, to learn from them, to teach them, to inspire them and be inspired in return. So she is more than thrilled to have the chance to meet with all of you – potential participants in PGLF Bulgaria, and can’t wait for combining energies and creating some magic together!
